Industry experts recognise the compelling benefits of leading on-demand email security service

BlackSpider Technologies’ MailControl email security service has been named ‘security product of the year’ at CNET Networks’ UK Technology Awards 2004. The award recognises the company that can best demonstrate effective delivery of a smart, innovative product or service that protects businesses against security threats.

The CNET awards were judged by a combination of security specialists including analysts, industry representatives, consultants and journalists who were asked to consider strategy, impact, market effectiveness, leadership and innovation. The awards received more than 1,500 entries.

BlackSpider MailControl offers the most up-to-date email security available, using a combination of the top security products on the market and its own proprietary technology to filter spam, viruses and harmful content. It detects and stops over 98 percent of all spam emails (figure independently verified by West Coast Labs April 2004) and 100 percent of all known viruses in email.
